Bruno, Goran and Rikärd formed Hellböund in 2008. From the beginning the music formula was well known: pure old energetic rock ‘n’ roll based on raw riffs and steady rhythm. Sasha and Darijan joined in 2009. and the band headed on for hell. We follow the trail of the mighty such as AC/DC, Motörhead and Airbourne, but we also work on adding our own touch to the mix. Rikard’s wild thrash metal influenced drumming and Sasha’s metal-shred expeditions are kept under control by our rock ‘n’ roll machines, Bruno and Goran. Due to differences in musical approach Darian soon left the band and Bruno again stood behind the microphone.
Although a young band, we already had a number of gigs, mostly in bars, but also on O'Rock 2009 demo festival in Oroslavje. We also played on the semi-final night of HGF 2009 demo festival in club Sax (Zagreb) and on the final night of the same festival in Zabok. Looking forward to future gigs, as it's the music that keeps us going! In 2009., thanx to the producer Dario "Bixi" Bivol we recorded a demo titled Sex, Drugs and Hellböund with three of our composition, and in 2010. we recorded Weapon of Choice EP.
It’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock ‘n’ roll, but with a guitar and a beer in your hand, you can also make a stand!
