Firstly i need to thank Renata for translation and making the interview and review in HardRocker possible!

English version of "Synthetic Breed" review.

It sometimes happens to me that "fame" comes long before I have a chance to hear a band. It was the case with "Synthetic Breed". For some time various friends had been encoraging me to turn my attention to the Russian band Illidiance. Finally the opportunity occurred. I have just had a chance to get hold of their latest release "Synthetic Breed". It doesn't matter that it's only an EP - it is enough to be in the know. They represent so called "cyber metal". Briefly speaking industrial, synthetic brand of sound. Heavy guitar playing with electronics in the background. As regards vocals, light growling coexists with cool, clean singing. If I were to make any comparisons, I would feel tempted to suggest that their songs have a climate similar to Fear Factory, The The Kovenant or Rammstein. The band are also trying to include some of death metal solutions in their compositions. Anyway, they themselves do not contradict being impressed by what our native Behemoth does To sum it up, although the music is not very innovative, still fans of such playing will not be disappointed. It is worth adding that another stuff of this band has just been brought out. Entitled "Nexaeon", it is a remaster of the band's already exisiting material. Well, there is nothing left for me but to encourage you to listen to the music of Illidiance as I and my friend have done. It may be an interesting experience. The band's website:
