Angels & Airwaves (also known as AvA) are an alternative rock band from San Diego, California, created by blink-182 and former Box Car Racer guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge. The current line-up consists of former Box Car Racer guitarist David Kennedy, former 30 Seconds to Mars Bassist Matt Wachter, who replaced Ryan Sinn in early 2007, and former Nine Inch Nails and Lostprophets drummer Ilan Rubin, who replaced Atom Willard in fall 2011.
