Psalm 92: 1-4 - "It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name. To proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night. It is good to praise you with the ten-stringed lyre and with the soft-sounding harp. Lord, you have made me happy by what you have done: I will sing for joy about what your hands have done." Fairgreen is made up of 4 young musicians who are all determined to make music that's not only enjoyable to anyone who happens to be listening, but to make music that also glorifies God. We are a christian band, with christian members who all believe that one of the best ways to help get the truth out into the world is by music. The lineup of Fairgreen was completed in mid-December of 2005. Every band now days claims to be that new revolutionary sound, with ... total originality. But what ever happened to just making good music with a good message, and letting the listener decide just how revolutionary you sound. Its not always all about the fastest guitar solo, or the quickest bassline, but more about how much that song moves the listener. Fairgreen is a christian band, who writes christian songs intended to uplift anyone out there who may feel like its time to give up. They will never claim to be their own sound, but they do hope that maybe something catches the listeners attention to where they keep coming back for more. Fairgreen began in December of 05, when they met Jody; the final member of the lineup. They began writing new songs and playing shows as quick as they could. 2006 was the year to get established. They sold a good amount of merch, including shirts, stickers, and buttons. But most importantly they sold alot of copies of their 3 song demo. With uplifting tracks like Between You and Me, and When You Come Back Home, you're able to hear simple but meaningful messages. Messages that are able to give the listener alittle more hope in whatever situation they may be facing.
