I Am Not I Am

With so many bands claiming to be Experimental/ Hardcore, it can be hard to break through. Combined with hard-hitting lyrics, emotion, raw sound and talent, the band I Am Not, I Am has risen above the masses.

Roots planted in Salisbury, Md., the five-member band initially began in 2002. With changes to the initial band roster, style and name, I Am Not, I Am is now running like a fine-tuned machine pumping music into the ears of those waiting to hear their uncompromising sound.

"When we started the band we were a lot different from how we are today,” said lead singer Troy Cash. “... (read more) Our music is now closer to where we want it to be. We've changed and straightened up a bit and people have really respected us and our sound."

Signing to Tenfold Records and Less Avenged Records in February of 2007, I Am Not, I Am is excited to take their Christian-inspired message to a much larger audience. Their first release on Tenfold and Less Avenged, Dear God We Must Return Fire, will blow the minds of listeners with its lyrics and hard sound.
