Into the Presence was formed in 2008 by session musician and songwriter, Luis Carlos Maldonado. Originally a vehicle for a solo album, Luis, encouraged by friend and fellow musician, Tim Alexander, recorded the self-titled debut album at Alexander’s private studio in the ghost town of Jerome, Arizona. 
Alexander brought in sisters Ana Lenchantin and Paz Lenchantin to contribute to the self titled work, in which only Ana would become a member of the live group and later a core member.

 It was a musical endeavor that would concentrate on real time performances. The album had boasted using analog equipment with nothing of the digital realm to be found anywhere on it.  “We recorded this album on a two-inch analog format so there was no digital,” Maldonado ...
