Letter Kills was a rock band from Southern California that formed in August 2002. They were signed to Island Records and produced by Jim Wirt (Incubus, Hoobastank). The band cites their Christian beliefs as the reason they got together. The name Letter Kills comes from Second Corinthians 3:6 - "for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life." Their first (and last) album The Bridge was released July 2, 2004. They have toured the United States, both with Story of the Year as part of the Nintendo Fusion Tour and on Vans Warped Tour. The band is currently on hiatus.
