Oh, The Story! is: James Larson (vocals/guitar) Jw Sargent (guitar) John Calvin (guitar) Jeff Hurn (drums) Josh Schlotterback (bass) Scott Swindells (keys) Like a story, Grown from a seed, Planted in the soil of the soul. Watch it grow. Watch the story unfold... "Songwriting is not a weakness for this band. Look for them to be a leader in the VA/MD scene soon. I can seriously listen to all their songs, continuously." - Tim Towner (The Daily Chorus) Truer words would not be spoken of a band regarded by many as Baltimore's best kept secret. Oh, The Story! Have emerged from Charm City's thriving underground music scene as a unique and driving force. Since the bands conception in early 2006 they have managed to build a large and dedicated fan base and a dynamic stage presence. As well as ... record their independently released album "Good Morning Illumination" (2007) with Paul Levitt ( All Time Low, Senses Fail, Circa Survive). Oh, The Story! Succeeds in taking "rock/pop" to the next level. Sharing the stage with such bands as Person L, The Atari's and Cute is What we Aim For-- James, Steve, Chris, Corey, Jesse and Mike provide not only music, but an experience for their audience. Displaying the bands wide range of influences, each song pulls from a variety of musical genres sparking a powerful and captivating live show. When asked about their music James said "We are inspired by and draw from bands and artists who have really evoked change and broken barriers with their music. That's what we aspire to." And they are well on their way.
