Shadowfax
Shadowfax was formed in late 2006 by three like-minded musicians who all held a life-long desire to revolutionize modern music. Rising from the ashes of a previous band, Michael Lee, Liam O' Connor, and Robben Falvey sought out a new drummer, Scott Blake, and proceeded to write exhilarating new Progressive Rock music, with a tinge of Blues rock. Soon after, Robben departed for Scotland, leaving Shadowfax as a three-piece, with Mick on Guitar and Vocals, Liam on Bass Guitar and Vocals, and Scott on Drums.
Shadowfax rose in the Irish music scene during their first spell of gigs during Summer of 2007. In just a few months, Shadowfax had dominated other bands from their hometown with twelve successful gigs under their belts. During this time, Shadowfax recorded a hastily-produced Self-Titled EP, including songs such as the acclaimed "Why You Lie" and "Carved Apart", which sold many copies during the 2007 tour.
Shadowfax continued writing fresh new material, with the hopes of recording a new Full-Length album. By the end of 2007, the band's style was quickly becoming more Dark and Melodic, and such sounds required a fourth musician to add more dimension. Liam reurned to his preffered instrument, Guitar, and the band urgently required a replacement bassist to complete the line-up. After a string of unsuccessfull applicants, a dedicated musician entered the ranks.
Enter Thomas Spelman. With the completion of the Line-up, Shadowfax was ready to return to the road with a fresh new aspect at the beginning of 2008. Over three months, the band has almost completed the pre-production of the new Album, and ready to return to the road.
