Family and Pain

Family is suposed to be the most important thing in life right? So when we see others going threw a hard time because of their family, why dont we just give them a rest and just leave them alone? When my mom died people that didnt even know her came up to me saying sorry to me.... how can they be sorry for somthing they had no part in? They didnt know her so what gives them the right to talk to me about how good of a mother she was. And now, with my dad, so he had a heart attack last year and now his kidneys are shutting down, what gives people the right to think that I am not going to go to school? I cant do anything for my dad, he is in another state, he chose to run away from me, yeah Im scared to death of loosing him...... but I dont need people coming up to me saying that they are sorry because that only makes me realize that im helpless, and I hate to feel that way. Cant you just say sorry for the luck that you have had or just say man that sucks, I dont wanna hear your life story on how you can relate to me. Alot of the time I dont even want to be reminded about it, hell talk to me about hockey for all I care man.
